Ping: 'Infiltration' ng Mga Miyembro ng NPA sa Kampanya, Nakababahala 

Marso 10, 2022 - Talagang nakababahala ang impormasyon mula sa dating cadre ng New People's Army na may ilang mga miyembro ng legal front ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) ang tila nakapag-infiltrate sa kampanya ni Vice President Ma. Leonor "Leni" Robredo.

Ayon kay Senador Ping Lacson, nagtutugma ang impormasyon na sinabi ni ex-NPA cadre Jeffrey "Ka Eric" Celiz sa mga impormasyong nakalap ng intel niya.

"Now, this is really worrisome - my intel sources being validated by Ka Eric, himself a top-ranking NPA surrenderor. Bad if their campaign is infiltrated. Worse if they are a willing partner. I’m more concerned about those who voluntarily joined their rallies but were not aware," ani Lacson sa kanyang Twitter post nitong Miyerkules.

Pinapatungkulan ni Lacson ang ibinigay na impormasyon ni Celiz na may mga miyembro ng CPP at "legal front" nito na nagpunta sa rally ni Robredo sa Cavite noong Marso 4.

Ayon sa video ni Celiz sa social media, nakatanggap siya ng text na nagsasabing may mga miyembro ng CPP legal fronts na dinala sa Cavite at Rizal. Aniya, may budget na P500 kada tao para sa mga dadalo.

Sa pagdinig tungkol sa red-tagging na pinamunuan ni Lacson noong Nobyembre 2020, sinabi ni Celiz na maraming pinangalanan si CPP founding chairman Jose Ma. Sison na legal front ng kanilang samahan. Ang legal fronts na ito ang mga responsable sa pagrerecruit ng mga miyembro sa NPA.

Dahil sa mga naturang impormasyon, binigyang diin muli ni Lacson ang kanyang babala sa lahat na mag-ingat sa isang gobyerno na posibleng magkaroon ng koalisyon sa CPP, NPA at NDF.

"If those in the campaign were not aware of this, they should consider themselves warned and take appropriate action. If they are a willing partner, they should consider the consequences of their actions - we simply cannot afford to have a coalition government with a movement whose sole objective is to seize power," ani Lacson.

"Since 1969, our country has suffered from the longest-running insurgency in the world which has caused more than 2,000 deaths and billions of pesos in revolutionary taxes paid to the CPP/NPA, not to mention the destruction of properties of those who refused to 'cooperate.' Insurgency, like corruption, must end if we want peace and prosperity," dagdag pa ng senador.
